Following a chance discussion with one of the stands at Global Birdfair in 2024, Jayne & I headed to Tobago for a couple of weeks in March 2025. This would be our first visit to the Caribbean since I took up wildlife photography, and it didn’t disappoint!!
The variety of birdlife was incredible, and so brightly coloured. I was particularly fascinated by the hummingbirds which could be seen around the feeders the various hotels we stayed at put out for them. We hardly scratched the surface & wouldn’t have seen half as much as we did had we not been out with local guides, in particular the Tobago birding legend that is Newton George.
