The idea behind this gallery is to showcase photos of what would be considered rare & scarce birds that aren’t normally (or rarely seen) in the UK.
I’m in no way a “twitcher” (the common term for a birdwatcher who chases rare birds) but if there’s something close by, or in the area I’m in, then I’ll make an effort go and see it.
Hover over the images as that will bring up a description of what each bird is. I’ll keep this gallery updated with anything new that I see.
